Congratulations to all our pupils who were awarded 'The School Values Award' at the Leavers Service last week. Each teacher had a challenging time choosing a pupil who had demonstrated our school values this year. Children were awarded a certificate and £5 Book House voucher.
Sports day was for all children to enjoy both n0n-competitive sports in the morning, contrasting with a more traditional sports day in the afternoon. The whole day of sporting events was held at the Junior site school field. Thankfully the forecast rain didn't appear, leaving us to enjoy a perfect June day of sports. [...]
As a spectacular finale for our year 5 and 6 topic the classes performed "Shakespeare on Trial' to a packed audience of parents, family and friends. Our Junior site were surprised this week with a guest appearance from 'Florrie' the Florence Nightingale charity bear! We were delighted to once again participate in the Aylesbury spectacular 'Whizz Fest' carnival in June. Following the theme of 'The BFG' Years 3 and 4 were inspired to create dream catchers from fishing nets, bottled dreams with glitter and all things sparkly and BFG huge ears constructed from willow hoops and carnival paper.
