On Friday 21st June Year 6 were called to a crime scene involving the theft of ‘Flippy’ the goldfish!  A naughty teacher had stolen the fish, so we needed to become forensic scientists for the day to investigate.  First we tested a drink found at the scene by using chromatography (separation of mixture in to different colours), it surprised us by turning orange; due to being tested with Benedict’s solution. Our next search was looking at fingerprints- still hoping to find the thief!  Eventually the culprit was discovered through our scientific investigations; we were delighted to have to agree upon a suitable punishments!
