Infant Site

Our Infant site in Cuddington is situated at the heart of the village.  The Victorian building has seen many renovations, with internal improvements to the main building and installation of outdoor equipment and surfacing most recently.  We now boast a modern entrance and reception, vibrant library area and PC suite provision.  All classrooms are installed with interactive screens and iPads are in use for flexible and mobile IT across the curriculum.

Outside, both Foundation and Year 1 have access to exclusive outdoor learning spaces from their classrooms.  All the Infant children have access to a modernised playground, ball games area and a variety of climbing equipment.  Beyond the playground, children have use of an all weather surface, paddock area which includes a reading chairs and a purpose built outdoor learning area, with a mud kitchen.

Further development is planned to expand space within our classrooms and improve facilities throughout our ever-evolving school.

Junior Site

A number of years ago the Junior site suffered from a fire, much of the site had to be rebuilt.  Following this devastation, and ensuing building work, we have managed to improved the site facilities for our four Junior classes.

A new library and iMac suite lie at the heart of the school, alongside a modern entrance and a group learning space for learning interventions and instrumental lessons.  We employ iPads as an additional mobile IT solution and our spacious hall is fully equipped with AV equipment, lighting and staging for collective worship and performances.  All classrooms are equipped with interactive screens and the open nature of the site enables children to move between lessons and communal areas more fluidly to best suit their learning.

Outside children have the use of the playground, picnic area and sheltered seating space.  Adjacent to the school we have a large sports field and trim trail; this is in use for the majority of the year for playtime and PE lessons and where we also host competitive sports.  Bicycle racks and a safe off-road holding area are available for our Junior children who travel to school, or part of the way, independently.
