On Wednesday 27th November, Head Teacher Kim Price, Deputy Head Teacher Matt Tomson, along with Governors Simon Shaw and Roger Pratap represented the school at the Aylesbury Vale District Council Design Awards evening, held at the council’s Gateway offices in Aylesbury.  We were delighted to win the Design Awards plaque for outstanding design 2013.

Winning this award is recognition of the vision, creativity, determination and sheer hard work involved in the redevelopment of the Junior Site in Dinton after the fire.

The rebuild project was an exceptional team effort involving the whole school community; governors, staff, pupils and parents. It is impossible to thank everyone individually for their contribution. Nonetheless, special recognition must go to; Mr Shaw for his original concept and design, Mr Pratap for his tireless project management and Mrs Price for leading the staff and pupils with skill, boundless energy and good humour.

The Governors of the school are extremely proud of the achievement and would like to thank everyone who has supported the school thus far and look forward to your continued support in the future.

Richard Winnicott (Chair of Governors)
