Congratulations to Alex in our year 6 class who qualified for the National semifinals in the Delancey UK Chess Challenge to be held in at Sandown Racecourse in July.
Alex was taught chess by his Dad and now plays weekly at Chinnor Chess club. His favourite move is ‘en passant’, a little known strategic chess move! Good luck to Alex!
