Year 6 have had a fantastic two days taking part in a Primary Engineer project from Chiltern Railways. They were visited by an engineer from Chiltern & Cross Country Rail who supported them to design and make their own locomotive. After a day of measuring and sawing, they were ready to start constructing their vehicles. Lots of glue and sanding later, the children had frames ready to attach their electronics to. Each group created their own moving vehicle and some even reversed! At the end of the session, the class went to the hall to test the locomotives.  A massive congratulations to Genevieve, Rosie and Yana who built the winner design. Thank you so much to Louis from Chiltern Railways who gave his time to support the children.
