We certainly made the most of the snow at playtimes over the past week. Everyone was wrapped up warm and enjoyed building, rolling and playing with the snow. Some of the snowmen even lasted a few days.
In History, Year 1 and Year 2 worked with their buddies to research the famous explorer Christopher Columbus. We learnt lots of interesting facts about him and we now know why he is such a famous explorer.

We celebrated Diwali - The Festival of Lights on Friday. We looked at the story of Rama and Sita and how families celebrate Diwali. We made rangoli patterns using coloured rice. We were delighted so many parents could join all the Infant children for our family Remembrance Service at Cuddington Church this week. Rev. Phil discussed the importance of poppies as a symbol of Remembrance. Three children lay a wreath from all all the pupils, parents and staff at our school.
