Having been presented with cocktail sticks and a selection of small jelly sweets during a Maths lesson, Year 3 were asked to investigate angles in 3D shapes. They enjoyed exploring creating 3D shapes and then using their angle eaters to find right angles, acute angles and obtuse angles.
Year 4 designed and created a Roman Market in Maths to consolidate written and mental calculations. The class enjoyed making, pricing, selling and buying products, whilst keeping a record of their spendings and takings on balance sheets.

Both sites celebrated Children in Need this year with a mufti day - lots of spots and superheroes! The Infant School Council also organised a cake sale to raise extra pennies. We raised a grand total of £265.65! Thank you for all your support.
Years 3 and 4 have been creating cardboard models of animals and huts for there African topic. Having honed their shaping, joining and painting skills, the models are nearing completion and we look forward to showing them off soon.
Years 5 and 6 had a magical time at the Warner Brother's Harry Potter Studio Tour. Plenty of inspiration for their 'Heroes & Villains' topic and especially their writing. All children returned in one piece and avoided any transfiguratons!
Little Owls have thoroughly enjoyed their weekly Outdoor Learning session with Mrs Place, Mrs Simpson and Mrs Heap. They have had so much fun exploring textures – squidgy mud, crispy leaves, prickly fir cones and smooth conkers. Thanks to everyone for making it possible.
