On the 19th of May, the whole school took part in an art day for the Spirited Arts competition. This is a competition where we have the opportunity to combine our RE knowledge and Art, which we were involved in two years ago.
We each created a piece of artwork that reflected our interpretation of a sacred or special place, using a range of materials. We all shared and enjoyed making our art, with all of them different sizes, some 3D and some 2D.
All the artwork will be shown in exhibitions. The infant exhibition will be on Friday 6th June from 3pm and the junior exhibition will be on Friday 13th June, from 3:15pm. All of the pieces of artwork are amazing and we are very excited for others to see them.
As part of the competition, we will select artwork from each class to be sent off in the hope of winning the competition.
