Congratulations to Lucas in year 5 who competed in two ‘Epee Fencing’ competitions this weekend. Lucas had a packed weekend, first at the Cocks Moors Woods Fencing Club Epee Championship in Birmingham; followed by the Bucks, Berks & Oxon County Epee & Sabre Championship in High Wycombe.
Lucas’ fencing was on top form, he played against some very good, strategic fencers. After a a number of rounds he fought his way through with focus and determination to achieve a stunning first place in both competitions, losing only one match over both events! An amazing achievement. Consequently he is very proud to be the Three Counties Epee U10 Boys Champion. Well done Lucas!
