Years 5 and 6 had a magical time at the Warner Brother's Harry Potter Studio Tour. Plenty of inspiration for their 'Heroes & Villains' topic and especially their writing. All children returned in one piece and avoided any transfiguratons!

Year 5 and 6 are currently exploring the unique habitat of tropical Rainforests. Looking at both vegetation and the wildlife, the children have located the areas of rainforest around the word and painted diagrams of the forest structure. Year 5 and 6 had a great time visiting the Globe Theatre on Monday 9th February. The children experienced clothing in Shakespearean times and watched a sword fighting demonstration with a variety of weapons! The character workshop was a particular highlight working with Globe actors and brought further inspiration for our production later this year. [...]
Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed becoming their favourite book characters on World Book Day. We have been inspired to even try a few new authors!
