The fantastic firefighters from Haddenham gave the Little Owl Class an exciting lesson on fire safety and what to do in an emergency. The highlight of the visit was seeing the fire car and listening to the siren, as well as watching Miss Webb trying on the heavy uniform! The firefighters top tip is to test your smoke detector batteries work every time you take the bins out!
This was such a valuable learning opportunity for the children to meet the Real Superheroes that they have been learning about. We look forward to a visit from a midwife next week. A big thank you to our class parents for helping us to organise these experiences for the children.
