Year 3 and 4 enjoyed exploring Pit Rivers and the Museum of Natural History in Oxford.
To help celebrate the American 'Rocks and Roll' topic Years 3 and 4 enjoyed a shared lunch. Much preparation went into the day which culminated in a feast of hot dogs, coleslaw, salad, potato wedges, with a banana split for dessert.
As part of the Space topic conclusion, Years 3 and 4 have designed and made their own alien species using modelling plasticine. Amazing ideas and great detailing - well done everyone!
Year 3 and 4 invited their parents to a grand Autumn term topic finale for a tea party inspired by Roald Dahl's Revolting Recipes. Having been presented with cocktail sticks and a selection of small jelly sweets during a Maths lesson, Year 3 were asked to investigate angles in 3D shapes. They enjoyed exploring creating 3D shapes and then using their angle eaters to find right angles, acute angles and obtuse angles.
