On Friday the 10th of October Year 6 had the opportunity to dissect and discover a lamb’s heart. We first started by looking at the peculiar appearance and were able to recognise the features, for example: the Aorta, the Atriums, Ventricles and more.
Some people decided it wasn’t for them whilst others were ambitious and even stuck their fingers through the Aorta! After we finished examining, we moved on to dissecting (it was so much fun!)
Thank you to all the teachers especially Miss Holdford for giving us this opportunity.
