As part of our science unit on plants we took the opportunity to visit the snowdrops which grow naturally in our woodland area. The children made observations about where and how they grow to inform the rest of our lesson back in the classroom and also practiced some observational drawing. They really enjoyed being out in nature and exploring the woodland with their peers.
