A small group of Year 5 and 6 pupils were selected to experience a Rock Climbing morning at Sir Henry Floyd school on Monday 2nd December.

On Monday, the 2nd of December 2024, we went to Henry Floyd Grammar School for rock climbing.
We went against 10 schools, such as Waddesdon, Brighton, and Bucks, and we came in 5th place of 11 schools.
We came first in a relay, and Charlie won the Simon Says game on and off the climbing wall!
We were all really fast in the relay. We went across a 28-meter rock wall in 2 minutes and 29 seconds (the average being 3 minutes and 30 seconds).
There was a rock touch where we had to touch as many rocks as we could whilst hanging on the wall, only being able to move our hands.
There was also rock paper scissors, where we only had one life, and if we fell, we lost. We sadly lost to another school. We were all really good, and it was really fun.
Thank you to Mrs. Carr, Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Brogan for making this experience possible.
