Wednesday 21st May was National Numeracy Day and the whole school enjoyed watching the live assembly and taking part in the activities. There was great excitement on the Infant Site as they had the opportunity to vote for decisions made in the planning of a picnic. They were very money conscious and chose to make sandwiches at home rather than buying them and to walk to the park rather than take the bus. To follow the live assembly, each class had a money based activity where they had to budget for a specific event.

Overall, it would seem that our children are very money conscious and could budget accordingly – great news. Thank you to those who support their child’s money sense at home.
