Year 2 were cooking up delights this week when we made our very own Butterfly Cakes.
Firstly, we used our knowledge of fractions to scale down the recipe. Then the weighing and mixing began! We worked in small teams and it wasn’t long before the cakes were rising in the oven. Once they cooled we decorated them, they looked very professional and were even more delicious!
