The sun was trying to shine and the birds were singing heartily as the Infant site stepped out for their annual walk around the village. The children were clutching their beautiful posies and proudly handed them out to villagers and parents. At each stop, they performed beautifully. Thank you to Mrs. Clements for teaching the songs and dragging the speaker around the village! As ever, the walk was followed by the enthusiastic dancing of each class and the wonderful accompanying clapping from parents. Year 2 parents had the added treat of being invited to join in with the dance – always a joyful sight. Following the exertions of the dancing, picnics were readied and the children sat with their parents to enjoy their lunch. Thank you to all involved in teaching the children their dances and to parents for the uplifting posies.
