Year 6 embarked on a toilet roll challenge! We began by asking questions: How many sheets to a roll? What is the total area of a roll? Does each roll have the same number of sheets? What is the weight of one sheet of paper? Is there a relationship between the radius and total length of paper? Once children had decided on a question, they worked in teams to discover the answers. The results provoked further questions we hope to explore at a later date.
